The Beginning

Having worked for over 15 years with large corporate organisations, developing software applications to enhance and extend the capabilities of the communications network in the business, it became increasingly apparent that businesses today were being constrained from the one side by ever increasing mobile phone call charges and in the increasing use of the mobile phone by employees even when in the office, and on the other by the frustrations of using radio based communications for onsite communications with issues regarding poor coverage, battery life, handset capabilities and costs of replacement handsets.

The Launch

Private Mobile Office was developed to provide enterprise customers with a cost efficient and flexible solution to these difficulties using existing proven technology and existing proven handsets. After acquiring a UK low powered spectrum licence in 2006, the Private Mobile Office solution was launched achieving immediate recognition, including the 2007 Frost & Sullivan Entrepreneurial Company Award.

Today, Private Mobile Networks are used by a wide variety of sectors including construction, military, hospitality and enterprise. Deployments include solutions for rapid deployment, ruggedised solutions for harsh environments and office solutions integrated with key business processes.
